Spring Cleaning Tips

Posted by Joyce Rickett

It's that time of year again when we start thinking about Spring cleaning, organising and refreshing our home decor for the warmer months ahead.

In preparation for this years Spring clean our team at The Home Company recommend you get ahead by organising and decluttering your home first. Often reorganising and clearing the clutter is the hardest part, by doing so we guarantee you'll have a feeling of accomplishment!

When decluttering you should ask yourself if the item is any one of the following, Beautiful, Useful or Sentimental, if you are unable to put your items in any of these categories then it might be time to donate it or pass it on.

Once you have decluttered it's time to roll up your sleeves and move onto the actual Spring cleaning. Cleaning the whole house can seem like an overwhelming task so we recommend doing it room by room. This is the most effective way to deep clean your house.

Here at The Home Company we have all sorts of storage solutions to help you organise your home. Our on-trend compact Hugo table is both stylish and useful, it comes in a variety of Colours and has a removable lid providing plenty of storage space. The Stowe Storage Bench with 2 baskets offers stylish storage for your everyday clutter in the Hallway or mudroom. Call in soon for more storage ideas. We hope you enjoy this beautiful Season.
